"The Cheezzzzz Whiz"
A shadow box with sketches of mice (colored pencil & pastel), scattered pieces of cheese and a mouse trap (carved out of wood - from the bits of cheese to the spring & trigger). There are 2 mice sketches hanging on a wire and 1 lone sketch of a clever mouse that has managed to drop from the display wire and has figured out a way to trigger the mouse trap to get the cheese. Such a Cheezzzzz Whiz!
Barn Mouse
"Are You Hungry?"
Everyone knows a neighborhood Cat Lady, and yes, I have been one with great rewards. Honor & praise for all the Cat Ladies; for all their care, love and bags of food. They tirelessly give!

The Chronicle Project
Exhibit for the Brooklyn Art Library - May 2012
From the Art House Coop, " The Chronicle Project challenges artists to document a single day in their lives and share it with our community. Choose to create a visual record, describe your day in narrative form or depict your path as a chart or map — just make sure to limit your focus to a single 24-hour span. Keep track of something specific, like every sound you hear, or attempt to capture your overall impression of a day. The only restriction is that your work must fold down to a size of 4" x 6". We'll exhibit the resulting chronicles in the Brooklyn Art Library and collapse 1,000 unique days into one."

"Degrees in a Day"
For my entry, I decided to track the changing temperatures, in degrees, for one day. Not just outside, but also the temperatures inside.
Automata
"Cat Fishing"
My first automata piece. This took me some time to put together and to understand all the pieces to make it move. What fun! Of course there's a cat that's featured. It moves by the viewer sliding the side handle up and down. I purposely created it this way (instead of using a motor) so the viewer could be part of the experience. I apologize for the poor quality of film.
